In a few words, here is a presentation of the career of Christian Rattaz, a decorative painter who graduated from the Institut Supérieur de Peinture Décorative de Paris and a practitioner of the play of painting in Corseaux:

Born in Lausanne in 1980, Christian Rattaz spent his childhood in the countryside of the cantons of Vaud and Valais, his curiosity for the arts in general always burgeoning. Before becoming interested in the game of painting and the method applied by its practitioners, Christian Rattaz trained in decorative painting techniques. He started in Ticino and continued in Paris, where he obtained decoration painter's diploma, as well as a prize, from the Institut Supérieur de Peinture Décorative. Since then, he has been working with gold leaf, pigments, and colours to create or restore all kinds of decorations.

In addition to his job as a decorative painter, he paints for himself. He was awarded the “Premio” prize in Florence between 2010 and 2015. He has also had the opportunity to exhibit in Switzerland and abroad, in Abu Dhabi and New York.

Since the birth of his children, he started to be interested in the pleasure that children have to paint without any constraint. Thus, it was only natural that he became interested in the "Jeu de Peindre" practiced by Arno Stern in Paris. He completed his "Jeu de Peindre" practitioner/servant training in 2019. Finally, he has specially fitted out his premises to offer a space dedicated to this activity.
